The activity was carried out at the headquarters of the sawmills located in Chaguaramas, Monagas state 

With games, recreational activities, prizes, music and a lot of camaraderie, the celebration of May 1st was held for the workers of the sawmills that are part of the wood business line of Corporación Business & Development. 

The meeting was attended by both operational and administrative personnel, which served to strengthen ties, as well as to recognize Corporación Business for the work they do every day related to the production of sawn timber. 

On behalf of the company, Yesenia Gamero, leader of b&Wood, and Javier Arbona, Human Resources Manager of Corporación BD, were present. They both thanked all the workers for participating in this initiative whose purpose was to seek integration as a team. 

“We are very happy to have shared with the approximately 60 workers who make a living in the two sawmills, it is a way of honoring their dedication and commitment, we have people who have been with us since the beginning of our operations, we are glad to see that there was good receptivity with the activity,” Gamero said.

In the celebration, the workers participated in a game of Creole balls, dominoes, sack races, among other activities that provided a space for sharing and distraction.

 The sawmills strategically located in the Monagas state, specifically in the Chaguaramas sector, process pine wood for the manufacture of pallets, packaging, construction and carpentry.
